Small
business is the backbone of the Arizona economy. Government has a way
of
being burdensome and oppressive to business by regulating and taxing it
to the point that being in business is many times no longer profitable.
This must stop!
Business
expansion and growth in Arizona requires:
*
Highly qualified and well-trained workers
*
Business-friendly environment
*
Quality schools at all levels
*
A capable freeway system
*
Lower tax liabilities
*
Reduce Regulation
*
Healthy business climate
*
Affordable employee health coverage
*
The ability of business to be profitable
I
worked in the family's construction business for 13 years and since
1997
I have owned a very successful internet business that sells products
worldwide.
I understand the needs and the importance of a small business to
Arizona's
economy. In order to keep our economy vibrant, we need to make sure we
grow our economy in a way that is friendly to business and attracts new
high-quality private sector jobs to Arizona and the East Valley. Tax
increases
on business are only passed on to the consumer and are not business
friendly. I
will not support tax increases on business and will work to reduce
business fees, taxes and regulations of all kinds. If government will
get
out of the way, business will flourish, wages will go up and we will
have
increased prosperity.
