Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives.”
— Alan Sachs
Be influential. The world needs more GOOD men and women of influence. We have plenty of the other kind. So learn how to be influential and affect the world or at least YOUR world for good. Making the world a better place will make your American dream better in the process. Be influential.
You cannot live the American Dream in a vacuum. Other people are all around you and they, your relationships, are part of that American dream. Make yourself accessible to them and lead a fuller American dream. It is a lonely world without friends or family. Be accessible to those around you.
Surprise the one you love by doing something unexpected that would be appreciated. Make the American Dream alive in someone else’s life. Unexpected acts of kindness are always appreciated and endearing. Be surprising.
Be well read. Living the American dream requires that we be knowledgeable in many areas. Quality knowledge moves us from simple shallow thinking to a more deeper understanding of life all around us. That understanding, along with personal relationships, provide for a richer more meaningful life. So….read! Read well and be well read.
Be Involved. Life goes by too quick and you’ll miss the best part of life is you don’t get involved. Your contribution to your community will give you back many times what you put into it. Part of success is giving back to others. You’ll never regret it. Get involved in the American dream.
