Think & Grow Rich - The Book
One of the earlier books I cut my teeth on was Napoleon Hill’s classic/bestseller, “Think & Grow Rich”. Amazon sells it now for about $12, but I got it for $2.95 back in 1982. I still keep it on my library bookshelf as a reminder of how I got where I am and just how far I’ve come.

You have to remember, I came from pretty lowly circumstances and at that time I was laying block in the hot Arizona sun for around 10 or 12 bucks an hour. I came home dead tired every afternoon and crashed ‘til supper. I was married (still am) with a one-year-old son and a little girl on the way. There was no retirement, stock options and when it rained, I could not work and did not get paid.
I am not complaining, mind you. Those days of hard work, now keep me grounded and thankful for this wonderful country that allows us to be whatever we decide to be. The sky is truly the limit. The truth of the matter is, we just limit ourselves.
I think that is why I love Positive Mental Attitude books so much. I read as many as I could get my hands on. And they shaped my personal attitude and made me THINK SUCCESS constantly. They allowed me, in spite of my circumstances to dream big.
I don’t care what the roadblock or obstacle, I still think …no, I know I will land on my feet. It is who I am. So my advice for the day; Read good, uplifting books that exude Positive Mental Attitude. You are what you think. So think success.
America is the greatest country that ever was but only because America was founded by the inspiration of God upon the principles of personal inalienable rights given to each of us by our creator and the principle of self governance. We must preserve both to survive as a nation.
